Graham Stable

Robin Linda Graham

Robin Graham is the owner/operator and trainer for Graham Stable in Laurel, Maryland.

Robin began her career exercising fox-hunters from Elkridge-Harford and Greenspring Valley Hunt Clubs. A summer of working with the world renowned brood mare veterinarian Dr. J. D. Gadd, with horses such as Cicada, Flaring Top and Flaming Page (family of Nijinsky) led to several years at Alfred Vanderbilt’s Sagamore Farm, working with young horses under the direction of Frank Alexander and Ralph McIlvain. Early racetrack experience was then gained with long-time Maryland trainers Alec Bullock and Glen Ballenger. Robin has successfully participated in local showing (English and Western), three phase eventing, and fox hunting.

After earning her trainer's license in 1982 she worked as assistant trainer for Barclay Tagg, Richard Small and Carlos Garcia before starting out on her own in 1993.

Of note in her assistant trainers’ career was her selection of, and instrumental role in the development of Roo Art, Gr. 1 stakes winner of well over $1,000,000. in career earnings.

The Graham stable is currently located at Laurel Park in Maryland with horses running at tracks across the country, primarily East Coast.
